6800GT to?

I've got a 6800GT. It still runs everything fine, so I have no plans on upgrading now. The thing is... how long will DX10 take to come out? Not until Vista release right?

Is it worth hanging with the 6800GT until DX 10 and get a DX 10 card or will that be so far away that a new DX 9 card should be purchased down the road?

It will another year before we see full support for DX10. Remember, DX10 will never be supported on Windows XP, so it will be a while before developers start releasing DX10 stuff.

oh yeah and even so.. it will be soo long b4 games absolutely require DX10 then you will hve re built by then anyways... so dont worry bout it.. im in the same boat... but dont worry it will be years b4 u have to ...
