i duno for sure... but im quite positive the 7600GT for $180 will quite efficiently out perform it...

well im not entirely sure.. they both are better than the other in some respects but it kinda looks liek the 6800GTO will out perform it.... maby...

I looked it up and i dont think the 6600gt outperforms the 6800 at all the 6600 is a 128 but u can get a 256 version but its rare, the 6800 is a 256 and its pixel pipelines are more all i can say is to look it up it depends on the card which card u want the brand etc.

yea the 6800 is a 256mb but the 6600gt rapes it in memory speed and core speed.

yeah the 6600GT unforunately is a 128bit card with 128 mg of GDDR3 unless you buy the 256 version which had DDR ram... which is no performance gain at all.... i dunno for sure... to get more like the 6800 the 7600 is the best bet... they are pretty much equal and some pull ahead depending on the game...so its all in wt card u want... i personally thing teh 7600GT is a better bet than the 6800GS now because of price/performance....

I wouldn't even consider anything in the 6800 line now. The 7600GT outperforms everything in the 6800 series. Even the Ultra...

BTW, the regular 6800 is about the same as 6600GT. The only thing with the regular 6800 is that it can be overclocked to near 6800GT speeds. The 6600GT can not come close to that.

One more thing.

If you want a cheap card that will kill the 6600GT, get the 7600GS. It is only 140 bucks and has 256 megs of ram.

plus you can soft-mod it to open more pixel piplines, i got the stuff to do it but i dont know what pipes i need to open/can.

You can only soft mod the APG version of the regular 6800. On the PCI-e verions, the soft mod does not work.

wrong, a very very few card where made with a NV45 core, that have the 16 pipelines. i bet that the dell 6800 GTO's have one, or atleast have the pipe unlockable or unlocked.
