You will have a whole new system before you run vista. If you are going to run vista with all of the pretty stuff turned on, then you will have to have the top of the line when that OS comes out.

Edit\ I answered my own question, i asked what the min system requiements were, but after more googling, i found this from microsoft:

inimum system requirements will not be known until summer 2006 at the earliest. However, these guidelines provide useful estimates:

512 megabytes (MB) or more of RAM

A dedicated graphics card with DirectX® 9.0 support

A modern, Intel Pentium- or AMD Athlon-based PC.

Not very useful but its better than nothing, just thought id share the info encase anyone else was curious. /edit

sorry guys ok... well i finnished the build... looks rather dashing.. but a problem.... once i activated SLI with the nvia drivers my PSU konked out... yeah... a 500watt liberty simply died when i installed the nvidia drivers and activated SLI... so no LAN parties for me....for a while.. im in the market for a PSU.. so if anyone knows anyone with a 600+watt PSU for sale PLZ let me know... just to let everyone kjnow... while it did work wiht one vid card.. it was really fast.. like makes my old setup look like its sitting still....i loved the dual core for like an hour... lol... oh welll... it sux... also if anyone wants some modular cables i got em.. lol
