Lan Party

Post by Lexon Avery »

Ok so it be fun to do a Starcraft Lan party, nothing beats setting back and watching your siege tanks defend your base until the toss get smart and send in some air units and stomp your ass out of existence.

Whats the thoughts....? she'd i be finding a date my folks would let me have the house?

well that's why there will be a few training exercises or i can carry a copy of the game on my flash drive and give it to the people who dont have it for them to learn.

I know that a lot of people likely wont want to spend an hour or 3 learning how to play, so would if we could offer up a prize of some kind....? like have a little tourning or something...

yeah, but i mean it may take and hour or two to learn the game, but it takes months to get good and even come close to mastering controls and build orders. We, and anyone else who has played the game, have a huge advantage. Im not saying i wouldnt enjoy it, but making it a serious competition doesnt sound like a good idea.

But we could maybe at this lan party kinda do teaching rounds and stuff of that nature, (2v2 battles with one noob and on pro on each team?). Then at another we can do a full up tourny?

Combat Arms - its free its counter strike with weaker graphics, its 700mb i think, and its an FPS so you just point and shoot, plus friends list, and its free. Plus if only a few of us play people online can join us and rap our assholes!

Graphically because its a toned down version of Counter Strike its can run on laptops, netbooks probable wont be able to handle it. But yeah let me know what you think, granted it takes two or three rounds to get used to the Game play, but just do Elimination or one man army. and i dont recommend playing on two towers right off the bat because there are so many angles and windows and building, Snow valley is my fav its open yet still gives you the amount of protection to make it easy to turn the tables on the other team.
