NO shampoo shampoo VANTEC U DUMB ASS im talking about ur dam sig as in ur "Signature", not ur dam username, when i make refrance to ROME total war. that quote is all over the shampoo game.

Aim..i use shampoo gaim only, and alais everyone so i dont have to deal with stupid usenames. but i do however know who this is, and u are new to the forum so i wil continue to call u a n00b.

and what the shampoo is the DB post for ur shampoo stupid.... u can say everything in one post it doesnt take two, now if u look at my sex change thread yes i DBP all the time but thats all right just because its high time someone send me a dam pic so i can shampoo with it lol.

now back to the topic at hand, if u dont have a fast internet connection still get a desktop using ur buddy net is stupid, u could get more just haling ur system to a LAN and file share. (like everyone know i do oh so well)

the only good thing about a lappy at morehead is i can hack into someones wireless and use there internet for my DL's so i dont get caught uploading and the take my internet away. hehehe.

desktop is the best way to go. Like lexon said, easy to build, easy to upgrade and modify, best for most uses (gaming, home theater, ect.) and most of the things that you will be using a pc for if u plan on doing more than word processing. If you want a little added portability, get a computer case with a carry handle, its not gonna help much, but it will be easier to carry. trust me, if u get a lappy ur gonna regret it in the long run. they have their uses, but if u doing anything with computers and if this is going to be ur primary machine, u will be sorry if u get a lap top. Plus, u can build a really kick ass desktop for the price of a mediocre laptop.

being someone who has both i will tell you desktop first.. for a while all i had was a laptop and i missed having a big nice desktop to sit down to... however a laptop is great and portable... but yeah i agree wiht mohican deffinately go desktop.. i mean easy to build.."remotely cheap" .. i mena to get a decent laptop your gonna spend about $1,200 at least and not play most games on the market.. like mine is about 4 months old and it plays Doom3 ok and some older games great but.. like i cant play quake 4 on it... however you can build a desktop for like $700 that will play every game on the market.. maby not max settings but it will play it...

Yea my rig cost around 7 or $800 and the only game i havent been able to play on max settings is Quake 4, but even on just high settings its awesome. Not something u can do with a lap top. unless u dish out some serious cash. Plus, i bought my rig over 8 months ago, so now u can build the same thing for probably, 6-$700.

Yeah, mine does kind of suck.
2.8 Cel. D
1 gig of RAM
onboard video
80 gig HDD

And all of it cost around $300-$400

I was looking for a quick solution. Still, I prefer this over any labtop, because eventually I'll be upgrading.
