THE NEXT LANAPALOOZA!?!?!!?1

Post by lordofthepcs »

Okay, when is it, what games will be played. Since we played UT2K4 last time, I'm looking at something a little more real... I've started playing America's Army and it would be SIMPLE to install because it's free, I've already got the stuff downloaded... of course, we will still have the XBox's running (I'm assuming) Halo 2. I got a new XBox since my other died, so we don't have to worry about any errors...

BTW, Doom 3 would be awesome, but I'm thinking that our school pc's wouldn't run it...

that the truth about the schools comps, but id think that call of duty would be fun to, its easy to set up and easy to play, a classic world war 2 game, u cant pass that up. with the AA u need to set up accounts and ppl have to go though training and crap like that hitting tagets makes me mad. set up would be easyer but time may take longer. id also thing that the LAN should start with a big game of UT2K4 would be kind cool to start, like if ppl missed the first one we could do like a recap of the hole thing.and then i could show off my xbox controller on USB. but right now its more about building my computer. i have all the information stuff at school too fo when we have a date set.

what about BFV??
Yeah, I know...

I'm up for just about anything. You guys decide the date, and get everything together to bring it before Mr. Bechanan. Sometime in the next few weeks would be nice.

The main problem with AA is that you have to register a server just to even play LAN. Otherwise i think it would be an awesome game.

the only thing you would need would be a machine to run as a server and then a nice switch or even some 10/100 hubs, let me know how many i might be able to let you borrow a hub or 2

I have a 16 port 10/100 switch that can be used. You guys just need to round up the cable...
