game ideas for future LAN's

ok lets see

1. UT2004......the PC gaming never ended about 16 ppl never gave up(that is untill dan started kicking ass, halo had 4 to 7 ppl none stop everyone had a great first Lan and the PC's were the main event (still think we should have done something besides deathmatch the hole time)

2. Halo 2.......i cant really say we played AA, maybe because more ppl played Halo 2 the hole time, Halo 2: 10 to 12 ppl none stop, AA: 6 to 8, Music: 4 to 5. although i know Halo 2 was a new game that ppl never played or saw played y AA ppl never cared to play.

3. CoD......I hope that WW2 games that not everyone has gotten sick of, will get the best of halo 2 this time.

my prodection: about the same as the first well see, Halo 2 may end up making it even but i hope that ppl took the hint that i know, i have better luck not playing josh or Mastercheif28 at halo 2, then i do trying to stay alive on anouther game, but i thing respawn is better then sitting on my but the hole time waiting for ppl to die. CoD we could play may different game types on a few maps. who know it could be better than Unreal.

what games could we play, id like to do a star wars battlefront some time like MAy when it comes out lol. That way we could have XBox, PC, and PS2 playing each other all at the same time. that way we could tell whats the best of the three, and we could have more ppl come, 3 tvs so 12 right there, and all the comps we can use lol or fit.(dont know the system requirments yet)

the 5th most likely the last in my high school LAN's we need something good just an over all great game, some thing fresh something new go out with a bang if u know what i mean. we could take like a real vote with the ppl that sign up to see what theyed want to play and go from that.

also we may want to change things up and not have a fist person shooter but an RTS or something thers like C&C games Blizzard games and others we could play although teaching tech trees would be hard. may try a racing game, i dont know any good ones for PC but im sure u guys may come up with one.

RPG are hard to find a good LAN and server setups but agien im sure u guys can figur something out.

its open to input an ideas i want this to be a productive forum not an ass wipe thread that ppl just bitch about game types and game play and crap just toss ideas out and well see.

Generals is good. Red Alert should be considered though

i just know that my copy of red alert doesnt work on my pc, but RA2 does, RA is a 95 game lol if it works on ur comp id like to see how.i had the hole pack "WorldWide WarFare" back in the day for my 95.

tried that didnt work, it comes up with this only made for win 95 error

Well... I dont have any problems. Dont know what to tell you. You could try the DOS version but that would look crappy.

It should be backwards compatible and have no problems.

i found a way on planet C&C that took care of it. good thing i have after math and counter strike, i have ever C$C game but RA2's expansion and the C&C gerenals Expansionu have them...???

I dont have RA2 and only have the original Generals game

i think battlefront is a pretty good idea.... since pple with consoles can play with pple with pcs.... i like the idea of red alert.... i wouldnt have to pack up my pc in order to play red alert....

Anyone ever played Combat Mission? That is a great game as well. It could only be 2 player multiplayer, but, We could have a bunch of games between different people. ... would be fun.
