When you have to lug around all those razor blades and socialist pamphlets more than one usb port and an ethernet port gets too heavy.

Because the furorism of the time tells us to.... gosh its like two girls one cup and stuff, its just, its just "IN". why don't you connect to the people around you NightHawk and buy one, then you'll see, you'll see the world for all its beauty you cant get that from a PC. Or the nifty magmatic connector for your power cord. ;)

Very true. All you have to do is convince a few culturally infleuntial d-bags to use them, then everyone that cares does. Then the trickle down effect starts. People that don't care about what famous people buy, but do care what people in their English 101 class buy go and get one.

So you all are convinced that its just the "trendy" thing to do right now and its solely based on that? Not the "it just works" factor?

See now your asking what causes the fad to start, like does it work, or did someone pay somebody in pop culture off, so on so forth.

I think its more like, its something different, its not the norm thus its "cool", "hip", "new". It may work, which isn't the case for a power user, it just does what all the people that use their computers for simple things like music, movies, and internet. And that's what they want, they don't need what we need.

That tied to the idea that it's "safer" to search the internet on a Mac, just adds to the must-have-ism, even if that's wrong.

Tied again to the idea that Bill Gates has to much money, cupped with the classic "Class Warfare" campaigns, like Obama's ^, and you get buying into "change"!!!!!! with the same recycled communistic agreements over and over again.

Finally fused with the "democratic" mind set of today, to which there are almost no accidents: everything that happens here among us is a consequence of "Equality"—a triumph over some opposition to it, a discovery of 'fresh' meaning in it. But let us forget the dispute about the roll of freedom here, and more elaborately man’s intuitive understanding of the his needs and wants with his "democratic" mind set. Plato had it right, I'm simply going to summarizing
"A man in a democracy flows from being an artist, to a shoe maker, to a potter, to a poet, to a dancer, so on so forth ever moving to what ever is drawing him in that direction at the time. And why not because in his eyes they are all equally intimidating to what he can be"
See what I'm getting at simply pull one and snow ball.

Simple as possible...They are sleek looking, have a retarded simple operating system that is for people who can't use real computers, and have "neat" features that make it not just a tool (like a PC would be for a business man to them), but a statement that you are not a dull, boring conformist. That is the best I can explain it.
